Subject:           AWARD OF FELLOWSHIP IN COURSE On  “ E.COMMERCE “ FROM

                        7thJANUARY – 2nd FEBRUARY, 2002  ( 4 Weeks ) at POSTAL STAFF COLLEGE

 

                        Pakistan Post & Government of Pakistan under its technical assistance programme is pleased to award ONE  (1) fellowship to your Postal Administration in the 4 weeks course on E.Commerce to be conducted at Postal Information Technology Centre, Postal Staff College, Islamabad from 7th January to 2nd February, 2002. The award of the fellowship is subject to the following terms and conditions:-

 

1.                  Provision of free air ticket to and from Pakistan by economy class of PIA excluding airport and other taxes if any paid outside Pakistan.

2.                  Boarding charges @ Rs. 2000/- per participant per month.

3.                  Pocket Money @ Rs. 2000/- per participant per month.

4.                  Outfit Allowance @ Rs. 1000/- per participant paid only once on arrival.

5.                  Free furnished lodging in the hostel of Postal Staff College, Islamabad. (Excluding mess charges) Two persons will share one room.

6.                  Free supply of books / training material relating to the course.

7.                  Free outdoor medical facilities in the Postal Dispensary / Government Hospital.

8.                  Free travel within Pakistan in connection with field study tours / visits by college coaster.

9.                  Daily allowance at prescribed Government of Pakistan rates per night during the period of field study tours outside Rawalpindi / Islamabad.

10.              2 three minutes free telephone calls to the participants home country one at the time of arrival and one before departure from Postal Staff College, Islamabad.

 

The nominees should be  middle grade postal  officers with  at-least 5  years of service at their credit. The officers should be familiar in computer skills like MS Windows, MS Word, Internet & E.Mail.  As this course is purely for Postal Officers the Computer professionals like Programmers, System Analyst, Computer Operators etc should not be nominated for this course. The course will be conducted in English Language & the participants should be able to read, write and understand English satisfactorily. The maximum age of the nominees should not be more than 45 years. Female nominees are encouraged to apply but should not be pregnant before traveling to Pakistan.  Nominees must complete all health and Visa formalities prior to departure for Pakistan.

 

Kindly  intimate the course coordinator by fax / e.mail latest by 10th December, 2001 the names, designation, parentage, date of birth, sex, address, e.mail address, passport number, date of issue, place of issue, date of expiry and 2 passport size photographs of your nominees to arrange for Government Clearance and issuance of return air tickets by PIA Pre-Paid Ticket Advice to PIA Office / Agent in your country. Every postal administration will nominate  TWO (2) Postal Officers principal & alternate for the course. In case some seats are left vacant the alternate candidates may also be accommodated.
