PAKISTAN POST's Elite Training Centre which imparts training on Informatics, Postal Operations & Management, Agency Functions, Saving's Bank, Marketing, Customer Care and other Postal Courses for Operational and Supervisory Staff. We AIM at Meeting the Training Needs of Pakistan Post Office and Universal Postal Union Member Countries through the TRAIN POST PROJECT of the Universal Postal Union. All Specialized Training Courses on Postal Services etc are designed and developed using the UPU TRAINPOST Networking approach. We also conduct on the spot training of short duration ranging from 1 day to 2 days through our mobile training teams which travel to interior of Pakistan and conduct Training Courses in the Major General Post Offices by gathering the regional staff locally. This has not only reduced the Training Cost but was also appreciated by the staff who could not leave their work places due to one reason or the other. We also plan to prepare Training Aid Material using various medias to start training through distance learning.

We Impart Theoretical and Practical Training to Operational & Supervisory Staff of Pakistan Post Office. This Centre is Developing as a Resource Hub on Information Technology and Informatics for PAKISTAN POST and UPU Member Countries through the TRAIN POST PROJECT. We have a qualified and well trained faculty consisting of Training Officers, Instructors, Demonstrator and Support Staff. There are well equipped Class Rooms, Dummy Post Office, Mail Sorting Practice Room, Examination Hall, Computer Lab, well equipped Library, Hostel for outstation trainees, Dinning Hall, Recreation Area and T.V Room. The Training Centre is ideally located on the first floor of the General Post Office in the HEART of ISLAMABAD the BEAUTIFUL CITY which is surrounded by lush green Margalla Hills, Rawal Lake and pollution free atmosphere. There are two more Postal Training Centres located in Lahore and Karachi the two other major cities of Pakistan. For Middle Grade & Senior Managers there is a Postal Staff College in Islamabad where Pakistani Postal Managers as well as Senior Postal Managers from all over Asia, Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Pacific Islands also receive training. Postal Staff College awards 5 fellowships to Senior & Middle Grade Postal Managers of Foreign Postal Administrations in various courses, workshops and seminars, which covers all the costs with the exception of return Air Travel Ticket which is to be borne by the nominating Postal Administrations.
